I love the challenge rating system of DnD of WotC. It helps me to build a Good encountet and also avoiding a total Party kill. How do we know how much hard and mortal the monsters are in simple DnD? Do you have some rule to measure the challenge rating?
Hit Dice should be used to setup the encounters. Hit Dice are to character levels – so 4 x 4th level characters should be challenged with 10-16 HD worth of monsters.

Is this a call for artwork?
Any guidelines on what would be good to submit? For example, there’s a distinct lack of dragons in the bestiary, but I don’t know if you envisioned dragons being relatively out of the scope of Simple DND. Would it be good to submit some more powerful monsters, or should we stick to ones that a level 5 team could reasonably take on?
I’m open to whatever. The final list with be curated from what is submitted
Will you be adjusting numbers for Simple DnD? A lot of the 3e monsters have a whole lot of health and an incredibly high damage bonus that is probably a bit unfair for this game. Will you change that kind of stuff for this game, or should we attempt to change it when we submit?
I start with the older 1e versions and then update as I like to add some of the newer Pathfinder flavor.
